Johannes is a fifth-year student at the University of Namibia, studying to become a medical doctor. His passion is to work in the realms of social development and health. Johannes has been an active member in his community for most of his life, and is one of the leading members of the Young Achievers Empowerment Project. He is also a committee member of the For Progress Namibia Project. One of his key roles is to coordinate the community groups in Katutura East (a large section of Katutura, Windhoek) on the action plan to improve wellbeing at grass-roots. He is also facilitating the group on improving education in Katutura East.
