Lily has a multi-disciplinary background in developmental neuroscience, infectious disease and sensory neurobiology. She is currently undertaking a PhD on the role of ecology in the development of the visual system of coral reef and deep-sea fishes. She aims to deepen our understanding of how these animals respond to shifting ecological demands, including anthropogenic environmental change.
