Arka Pandit is a Research Faculty at the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014. His primary field of research is in the area of resilient and sustainable urban infrastructure systems with particular focus on the resilience and sustainability of urban water systems. He received his MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Bengal Engineering and Science University, India.
