Dave Coulter is a consulting horticulturist and educator based in Oak Park, IL. He has worked in the green industry for over 30 years and has owned his business since 1997. He has been engaged with the local arboriculture community, and primarily assists his clients in urban forestry, ecological restoration, and project management issues. In addition, he has taught and developed online/hybrid courses at the community college level. His interest in hedgerows likely was kindled during childhood forays in and around rows of Osage-orange trees in the suburbs of Chicago – and continues to this day.
