Justine is the Director of Progress Namibia, a company that leads work on supporting sustainable development in Africa through various services, including capacity building, mentorships, facilitation, communication and education, and development planning, implementation and evaluation.

The company's work also encompasses action-research on new progress indicators that focus on human wellbeing, health and education, decent work and natural welfare, through a project called 'For Progress Namibia', on which she is a committee member. Justine is a member of the WE-Africa Action-Research Network (www.we-africa.org) and of the Wellbeing Africa Lab (made up of 28 participants across Africa) redefining what is meant by success in Africa. Justine and her colleagues have conducted bottom-up research by collecting narratives through depth dialogue processes on what progress and a successful society looks like.
