Laura Pereira is a research fellow at the Centre for Food Policy working on governance for food system transformation in South Africa. She also has an extraordinary appointment as a senior researcher at the Centre for Complex Systems in Transition at Stellenbosch University, and is a research associate at the Stockholm Resilience Centre. Laura is a member of the IPBES expert group on scenarios and models where she has been able to use the methodology from the seeds project to help develop the Nature Futures Framework that will hopefully form the basis for more positive visions of nature and biodiversity.
