Manish Bapna is the executive vice president and managing director of the World Resources Institute, whose research, analysis, and policy recommendations provide practical solutions to global challenges of environment and sustainability. Previously, he was the executive director of the advocacy nonprofit Bank Information Center. Bapna began his career in international development at the World Bank, where he served as a senior economist and designed community-driven water, watershed, and integrated rural development projects in Asia and Latin America. His experience also includes serving as an advisor to Seva Mandir (a leading, grassroots nonprofit in India) and as a strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company.
