Michael Morris holds the position of program coordinator in the Agriculture and Rural Development Department of the World Bank. He is the lead author or coauthor of several flagship studies, as well as a contributor to the 2008 World Development Report, Agriculture for Development. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2004, Morris spent 16 years in Mexico, Thailand, and Washington with the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center and the International Food Policy Research Institute.
