Niels Meyer has been a member of the Balaton Group since 1984. A physicist and former president of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences, he is an emeritus professor at the Technical University of Denmark. In 2012, he was named the first recipient of the SolarSuperState Association prize in the Wind Energy category.
