Dr. Sabine O'Hara is Dean and Director of Landgrant Programs for the College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability and Environmental Sciences of the University of the District of Columbia. She is known for her expertise in sustainable economic development, global education, and executive leadership. Dr. O’Hara is the founder of Global Ecology LLC, the 10th President of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, and has held faculty and administrative positions at: Concordia College, Green Mountain College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and has served as the Executive Director of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars. Dr. O'Hara has a doctorate in environmental economics and a Master's degree in agricultural economics from the University of Göttingen. She is the President Elect of the International Society for Ecological Economics and an International Advisory Board member of King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
