Simone currently leads the development of the Investment Fund for Land Degradation Neutrality for the UNCCD in collaboration with Mirova, the responsible investment subsidiary of Natixis. He is a board member of the Ecosystem Services Partnership, affiliated member of the University of Zurich Research Priority Programme on Global Change and Biodiversity, and a PhD candidate in the Department of Environmental Systems Science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
