Steffen Loft has been the Professor and Head of Section of Environmental Health at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark since 1998, and in 2015 became the Head of Department of Public Health in The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. His research focus is associations between health and air quality in the ambient and indoor environment, in particular related to sustainable development. Steffen Loft has published more than 400 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals with more than 15,000 citations.
