Steve Roady is a lawyer with Earthjustice, a public-interest law firm in Washington, DC. In 1998 he launched the Ocean Law Project, an initiative designed to conserve ocean resources, including fisheries, marine mammals, sea turtles, and ocean ecosystems. He has been teaching ocean and coastal law and policy at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment since 2003.
