Ted Greiner received a specialist PhD in nutrition for developing countries from Cornell University. For 19 years he worked as nutrition advisor for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, based at Uppsala University where he was Associate Professor in International Child Health. He has lived in half a dozen countries and worked in dozen more. He worked as Senior Nutritionist at the non-profit Program for Applied Technology in Health (PATH) for four years and for the past six years has been Professor of Nutrition at Hanyang University in South Korea. His areas of research expertise include infant feeding and programs to combat vitamin A, iron and iodine deficiency.
