Terry combines freelance design consulting, guest teaching at colleges and universities in Europe and North America with her own PhD research. She is a lecturer with Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at The University of Dundee in the Design History, Theory and Practice department.
As a PhD researcher with The Centre for the Study of Natural Design at Dundee University, her focus is on how principles from holistic science and Goethean method can inform a more responsible and appropriate design process. Her work proposes that sustainable design must arise out of a more holistic/ecological worldview.
